About the Event
Exercise is key to great health, mental and physical. The Central Pennsylvania KINGS are proud to announce our “Family Fitness Day”, which will be a virtual workout session for families and students alike. Join us on May 1st for a day of fitness consisting of 3 sessions:
Session 1: Strength and Conditioning
- This session is open to all: students, family members, or anyone looking to get themselves moving! Our activities in this session will focus on strength and conditioning through the lens of basketball. The timing of this session is 10:00AM-11:00AM.
Session 2: Basketball skill session (Ages 12+)
- Want to sharpen your basketball skills? Sign up for our basketball skills session scheduled for 11:00AM-12:00PM. Skills highlighted in this session will include: dribbling, form shooting, and agility.
Session 3: Basketball skill session (Ages 7-11)
- Want to sharpen your basketball skills? Sign up for our basketball skills session scheduled for 12:00PM-1:00PM. Skills highlighted in this session will include: dribbling, form shooting, and agility.
Participate in this family fitness day from wherever you are! Before the event we will send you a video sign-in link so that you can tune in on May 1st.
A portion of the funds raised through Family Fitness Day will benefit the American Cancer Society's mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Lace up your sneakers, have some fun, and help make a difference.
